[Hexed to Scorpius] Depending on what she says I am bringing Molly in on our plans. I think she would be a great help.
[Severely Hexed to Molly] I never would have imagined myself a revolutionary. I was never a man with a want for power. My ambitions always took me elsewhere. There comes a time where every man has to step up and take that which is denied to him. I am the best in my field yet I was replaced by some idiot. Our worth is diminished by the house we were sorted. Those that were once considered less and dirty have turned us into villains when we have done nothing wrong other than the blood that runs in our veins or the fact we are cunning and ambitious. I have a question to ask of you. I don't fear coming out and saying it because of all of us that share blood I trust you the most, Molly.
If you could change the world would you?

THE CHARACTER FULL NAME: Albus Severus Potter BIRTHDAY: PLACE OF BIRTH: SEXUAL ORIENTATION: OCCUPATION: OFFILIATION: {Where are their allegancies as far as the stirring revolution and the actions of the Ministry?}
BLOOD STATUS: Halfblood HOUSE AND YEAR: Slytherin 2017-2024 WAND: BOGGART: PATRONUS: {include what fuels your patronus}
PERSONALITY: While he was not the average Slytherin, Albus is still everything that makes a Slytherin a Slytherin, sans the pureblood. Albus is clever, ambitious; at times a spot cruel if the need or opportunity comes about. Albus’ ambition might vary from many peoples but his greatest want is to set himself apart from his family. The Shadow of Harry James Potter is rather long stretching after all. Alby also has the misfortune of being named after two very great men. He loves his name but with it comes a need to prove yourself up to being worthy of your very name. The few people that knew both men well enough to compare have said that Alby is a great deal like Severus down to Alby’s sharp wit, cutting quips, and his quiet tendencies.
Albus has an almost nonexistent temper which truly does amaze people considering how explosive both Ginny and Harry’s tempers can be. Albus has just always been a very controlled young man and thinks there are better ways of dealing with situations than getting angry. Alby stores up anger for rainy days but he rarely if ever forgets a slight. He might not lash out immediately but if he gets a chance at retribution you can bet he will take it later down the road. One easy way to chip away at Alby’s resolve though is his pride. Making Albus out to be incompetent will set him off quicker than anything.
Alby from a young age had a great love of old dusty books and his dear Aunt Hermione readily encouraged the boy. Albus has a fascination with languages and has gone to lengths to learn them. He loves the unknown and forgotten.
A spot socially awkward Albus loathes crowds of people and it comes quite close to being a phobia for him. Albus would love nothing more in the world than to blend seamlessly into the background and never be noticed again. He hates attention and has a hard time trusting those not sorted Slytherin due to the state of the Wizarding world. His own brother looks at him like he murdered their father so there is little wonder. STRENGTHS: languages (Romanian, French, Ancient Egyptian, Latin), problem solving, quick thinker, reflexes, WEAKNESSES: Large groups, socially awkward LIKES: lemon sherbets, waistcoats, blonde hair, DISLIKES: PERSONAL GOALS:
PARENTS: Harry Potter (deceased) and Ginny Weasley Potter THEIR RELATIONSHIP: Strained at best the passion died down rather quickly after the birth of their last child and the strain became more and more compounded. Ginny pretended nothing was wrong but anyone that paid attention could see their marriage was fraying. It isn’t common knowledge but Harry was moving out the day he died papers already pushed through by his lawyer for a divorce. SIBLINGS: James Sirius (older brother), Lily Luna (younger sister) FAMILY DYNAMICS: Albus was and will always be the black sheep of the family. He was always different from his siblings being the quiet methodical child that would rather read a book than run around and play. The only people that went out of their way to understand him were his father and his maternal grandmother. Albus’ own mother the moment he was sorted Slytherin pulled away from him. The stigma placed on being sorted Slytherin had most of his family watching Albus as if he would turn on them at any moment.
PERSONAL HISTORY: Everyone knows the story of the Boy Who Lived and how he slew Voldemort and even got the girl. It was the perfect tale of the hero rising from adversity to have the happily ever after. Harry went on to become one of the youngest heads of the Auror Department in 2007. Ginny went on to play Quidditch for the Holyhead Harpies but retired early so she could settle down as the Quidditch senior editor for the Daily Prophet, she really missed her babies and it was bad enough one parent had a life threatening job let alone both of them having one.
Albus Severus Potter was born on a cold morning of January 29, 2006 almost on his grandmother’s birthday. Albus came in to the world quiet and barely made a cry and he stayed that way through out much of his childhood. He was the decently quiet child, the one seen but rarely heard though that didn’t mean he was unresponsive and didn’t interact with his siblings…or out right scream in frustration at James on occasion. Albus from the time he was young was his elder brother’s favorite thing to pick on and pester. It was something Albus got used to and something that seemed to slow yet never stop as they got older.
Attending a muggle school growing up was one hell of a gift as far as Albus is concerned. He was just a normal kid like all the others. No one knew who his da was and no one expected him to be able to do the Patronus Charm at age eight. It was in muggle school that he had the hardest time at being bullied though. Albus was a very quiet and rather small child and sat off by himself more times than not just reading. Not running around and screaming at the top of his lungs of course drew the attention of everyone and it was his brother James that ended up saving him from them. Albus swears though it was because James thought he was the only one allowed to pick on Albus.
The trip to the train station the year that Albus was to head off to school was something that Albus will never forget. The entire time James teased him about ending up a Slytherin and all Albus could think of was how Uncle Ron would probably disown him or worse how his father would react. The lasting stigma didn’t come to mind in his young terrified thoughts. That was before the talk his father gave him on platform 9 ¾. The fact his father admitted to nearly being a Slytherin himself and the fact he had chosen his own path as a Gryffindor, gave Alby something to think on the very long train ride. Though loosing his family on the train and having to sit in a compartment with the little boy that his Uncle Ron had told him not to associate with proved to be life changing. Almost instantly Albus found Scorpius to be uncaring of his name and what he looked like as long as Albus felt the same about who Scorpius' father was and what his own last name was. It was a match made in heaven and a friendship that while most don’t understand has stood the test of time.
When Albus stepped up to the stool and sat down he was amazed the hat that had sorted his mother and father and so many before them was still intact enough to sit on his own head. The hat made a few humming and thinking noises and began to debate between Ravenclaw and Slytherin. Albus remembered the words of his father about picking his own path. The words from his mouth were a soft whisper but the hat heard him clear and resounded from the top of its nonexistent lungs. “SLYTHERIN!” Which as one would guess was met with shocked silence. He stood up from the stool and shuffled over to sit at the Slytherin table and truly had to wonder what he had got himself into.
Albus’ years in Slytherin were those of constantly proving himself. He had a good deal to over come among his housemates being a half-blood and the son of Harry Potter. Albus proved himself rather early on among some of his housemates; even if they didn’t befriend him they all gave him a begrudging respect. Being a Slytherin was far from easy though. The whole school seemed against them and Albus was not exempt because of his last name. If anything Albus seemed to receive more grief than others because of the house colors he wore. He kept his anger at bay though more times than not. He stored it up and retaliated when those that had wronged him least expected it. It was his fifth year that one of James’ best Gryffindor mates tripped down the rotating stairs. The poor bloke had the great misfortune of doing so as they were changing and tumbled right off the edge and fell onto a platform two stories below. Albus stood there watching it all with a somewhat bored expression. No one ever realized that the poor Gryffindor had tripped over a Slytherin’s foot, let alone that the foot belonged to Albus.
Albus has a love of Quidditch but didn’t want to try out due to there being enough similarities thrown around about him and his father not to mention his brother played the position Albus favored for Gryffindor. It was by unending goading and a matter of pride that orchestrated him trying out and being picked up by the Slytherin house team his fourth year as their seeker due to a need for a mid-season replacement. It was seen early on that the young Potter was a force to be reckoned with on a broom. He pulled stunts not unlike his father had once done and got carried to the hospital wing more times than most but he always won the game. It was something that drove an even wider rift between the Potter boys and the rivalry between Slytherin and Gryffindor loomed on a massive scale anytime the two faced off for a game.
Albus is a rather smart boy and it showed in his dedication to his school work. It didn’t help in his third year though when he picked up three courses rather than two like most. He added Ancient Runes, Arithmancy, and Divination. Divination was quickly dropped, Albus knew early on he didn’t have the eye and couldn’t be bothered to even fake it. Albus excels at History of Magic, DADA (surprised? Most aren’t), Transfiguration, and Potions. He studies and works hard in Herbology and Charms though they aren’t his best he doesn’t do wretchedly in them. Most found him utterly insane that he took eight N.E.W.T level courses but Albus still managed to play Quidditch and hang out with his best mate. Albus was never a prefect or head boy thankfully. He just got in a spot too much trouble to make such things and he didn’t want them anyway.
After graduating top of his year Albus left Hogwarts and went into advanced training to be a field historian on a curse breaking team that worked for the Wizarding Museum of History. The long lost places surrounded in mystery was what drew Albus to the field not the narrow escapes with his life and adventure. That is what he told people at least. Albus got the position by the skin of his teeth their being no other recruit that year. The rest of his team once he managed to get out in the field after a year of study didn’t particularly like Albus being there. They distrusted him and he was the brains of the outfit they had to put trust in. It has taken years to gain the trust and respect of the team but they have begrudgingly given it to Albus. His team has began to notice just how difficult their Slytherin partner has it along with the pureblood Hufflepuff girl that joined the team not long after Albus. The team truly saw and heard how unjust the world had become when they were all called home after a very successful trip through a newly discovered tomb that was found in the Valley of the Kings. Albus was fired the moment he was inside the office of the head curator. Albus should have expected it but he had become complacent and thought the world had changed just a fraction. He had been very wrong. New transfers from a French and an American museum curse breaker team replaced Albus. They had to replace him with two wizards to make up for how good he was at his job but he was replaced nonetheless.
APPEARANCE: Albus, probably much to his brother chagrin, shot up like a rocket quite young and it really wasn’t a spurt more than a consistent growth to the point he stands at six foot three. Albus is tall and spindly the perfect build for a seeker. Albus all his life has received the “You look just like your da” much like his own father had. Albus has the same unmanageable hair that he keeps on the long side, and grandmum Lily’s bright green eyes, the only one in the family that got them, a proud point for Alby. Albus even at times wears glasses though they aren’t a constant thing like with his father.
Albus generally makes a point to try and make himself not look like his father his glasses tend to be far different than Harry’s usual and Alby will even go as far as not shaving, being known to have a spot of a goatee from time to time. PB: John Patrick Amedori
